Spirit of Christmas

Centre in the Square Show Hottest Tickets in Town

KITCHENER, ONTARIO – November 23rd– Concertgoers are patiently waiting for December 1st, when Russ Taff, Luke McMaster, Mark Masri, Eh 440, Joel Parisien, and Kevin Pauls, hit the stage for the annual Spirit of Christmas variety show at the Centre in the Square in the heart of downtown Kitchener.

The Spirit of Christmas is a smorgasbord of musical talent that caters to all audiences. From a capella band Eh440 to six time Grammy award winner Russ Taff – this variety show is packed with a punch featuring performers you won’t want to miss. Tickets are selling quickly with locals anxious to get into the Christmas spirit.

“The snow fall this past weekend was perfect timing – setting the mood for next week’s Christmas show to launch the season,” says Wendy Degraaf, Co-founder and organizer of the Spirit of Christmas Variety Show. “There was a lot of buzz about the show this weekend. We participated in the Kitchener-Waterloo Santa Claus Parade (Kevin sang Christmas songs for the entire route,) and The Record featured a great article.  It was exciting.” She speaks of Kevin Pauls – who not only is performing in the show, but is also the founder and host of the event. With a vision to create an annual Christmas tradition in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region, he made the Spirit of Christmas Variety Show a reality and began his hunt for the perfect line-up of musical talent. His vision seems to be paying off as tickets sales skyrocketed this past weekend.

Amazing performers, an electrifying live house band with string and horn sections, a large breathtaking choir and a yearning to return next year is what you can expect on December 1st at the Centre in the Square theatre.
