We are inviting an awesome Technical Support Specialist to join our NEWT Technology team to contribute to delivering happiness and connections every day. The unique tasks that you will take pride in accomplishing are listed below.

• You will answer technical support calls related to high speed internet and associated products such as VoIP
• You will track all issues and escalate unresolved problems
• You will follow-up with customers and partners to ensure product satisfaction
• You will be accountable and build trust with customers, partners and teammates
• You will perform other duties based on the needs of the business as they arise
• You will work in a team environment to resolve customer and partner issues
• You will work flexible shifts which will include “On Call” duties

• You have previous support related experience dealing with customers

• You have an understanding of VoIP, DSL, Ethernet and TCP/IP
• You have experience with LAN/WAN, and wireless networking technologies
• You have a wide knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
• You are detailed and meticulous in problem identification and resolution

preferable assets
• You have an understanding of T1, DOCSIS, technologies
• You have a keen interest and working knowledge of networking protocols, software and operating systems including: SIP, IPSec, IP SLA, IP PBX, PBX, Unified Communications, CDP, LLDP, PPPoE, DHCP, DNS, Asterisk
• 3+ years of experience in customer service
• Bilingualism (French Preferred)
• College or University education, in computer science or engineering
