Executive Team

CEO Chairman of the Board
Jody brings to Fibernetics and its group of companies over 16 years of a proven track record being a successful CEO or VP of technology in the Internet Telephony industry. Jody is one of Canada’s rising stars in business, his architectural network vision, team leadership and continued innovation sets him apart. Jody's aggressive innovation sets the tone for Fibernetics culture which is evolving to become one of Canada’s sought out companies to work for. Jody brings boundless passion, drive and dedication along with a unique perspective in all facets of the business. Jody’s focus on growth initiatives mixed with the ability to grow out of profits has allowed Fibernetics and its group of companies to have a solid foundation going forward while sustaining desired private ownership levels. Jody’s focus is to continue to lead Fibernetics into the ever evolving Canadian Telecommunications landscape and come out a significant market leader. Jody also finds the time for a devoted passion towards charities and children’s education in computers and internet. Jody studied Business Commerce at the University of Toronto and serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board.

President
Eric has extensive financial, strategic planning and senior management experience from a 20-year career in various leadership roles in the technology and communications sectors. Prior to joining Fibernetics in November 2011, Eric served as President & CEO of Bruce Telecom, a 100-year-old incumbent local exchange carrier based in southwestern Ontario. Eric also worked for Rogers Communications as a Senior Vice President and for Sprint Canada as President, Carrier Services.
As President of Fibernetics Corp, Eric is responsible for leading all departments as the company continues to grow its residential, business and wholesale divisions.
Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and graduated from the Executive Development Program at the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.

CFO
Bobbi Holte brings to Fibernetics over 18 years of progressive experience in the hi-tech sector with significant experience in financing and funding of hi-tech companies. Her responsibilities at Fibernetics include overseeing financing, tax, risk management, budgeting, cash flow management and mergers and acquisitions.
Bobbi has worked with numerous high-tech firms within the Technology Triangle including Maplesoft, Dspfactory Ltd. (now ON Semiconductor), LiveHive and as the first Director of Client Programs for the Waterloo Research and Technology Park Accelerator Centre the Region's highly successful technology incubator. While working for the Waterloo Research and Technology Park Accelerator Centre she was successful in meeting commercialization objectives 18 months earlier than target established by highly prominent and successful members of the Board of Directors.
In 1993 Bobbi received her CA designation while working for Ernst & Young and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor. She was recently named to Waterloo Regions inaugural "Top 40 Under 40" list in recognition for both business and community achievements.

CTO
Francisco Dominguez brings with him 23 years of experience in the fields of software design, telecommunications, hardware design, product management, and IP based service. Through Francisco's 15 years of management experience he has successfully built multiple highly motivated technical teams whose focus on customer service has led to multiple acclaims and prestigious recognition. Francisco's passion for that which is technical has allowed him to guide his teams into regularly taking the impossible and making it possible, while balancing the needs of both the organization, and the needs of its customer base. Francisco attended the University of Waterloo's Systems Design Engineering program. Francisco looks forward to bringing the same success he has established in other organizations to Fibernetics.

CMO Board Member
John Stix has been a leading Sales and Marketing entrepreneur in Canadian Internet and Telecommunications since deregulation. John has designed and brought to market some of Canada’s most effective telecom marketing strategies that focus on rapid customer acquisition, low go to market costs and revenue generation. These strategies over the years have generated over 600,000 subscribers, tens of millions of minutes of daily usage and a ever growing sustainable model for Fibernetics and its group of companies. John has sought out and partnered with some of Canada’s leading organizations such as Labatt, Sun Media, Transcontinental, Torstar, Corus Entertainment, among many others. These partnerships have represented over $50 million in contracts for Fibernetics and its group of companies. John’s boundless enthusiasm is contagious and he has been featured in many publications and media and is a winner of Profit Magazine’s young entrepreneur of the year award. John is a key member of the executive team and also serves as a board member.
Management Team

Contact Center Leader
John Cockerill joined the management team at Fibernetics, bringing with him 28 years' experience in Customer Contact Centres in sales, service and marketing sectors. His record of success with financial services and wireless telecommunications clients, as well as with non-profit organizations, provides Fibernetics with additional planning capabilities. As our vision of growth is being realized, John will be at the forefront of ensuring operational scalability.
John's unique understanding of the pivotal role of customer support in sales organizations has contributed to increased sales at Fibernetics. Furthermore, he is able to transition staff to implement new processes, resulting in greater efficiencies. With his hands on approach, as a former executive with the Bank of Canada and many major charities, John is keenly aware of the importance of aligning customer care centres' capacity with market demands, and ensuring organizational flexibility is maintained.
Educated at Ryerson University in Toronto, John is also active in the volunteer community; he is the vice-chairman on the Board of Better Living, Health and Community Services.

Director of Finance
Sharon Coggans is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience with private and public companies. After spending more than ten years in public accounting, she decided to focus her attention on technology based companies. She has held executive and senior finance management positions with hi-tech companies for the past 10 years. Her responsibilities have included strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, acquisitions, financing, taxation, financial reporting and logistics. She has led both implementations and upgrades of accounting and financial reporting systems.
Sharon holds an Honours BMath degree from the University of Waterloo with a Chartered Accounting Option. She is committed to staying current with recent accounting developments and has completed the IFRS Immersion 1 course offered by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and received a Certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards from The Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales.

Call Centre Manager Dominican Republic
After over 10 years leading in the customer service industry and 15 years working in the telecommunications industry, Peter Cross has refined the art of starting successful call centres from the ground up. After optimizing the customer service process, the Waterloo native travelled to the Caribbean where he built the 60-seat customer service centre in the Dominican Republic which now services the Fibernetics group of companies. He has remained in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic for the last 5 years as Vice President and General Manager of Cancall International.
Peter grew up in Kitchener-Waterloo and studied English at the University of Waterloo along with Journalism/Public Relations at Conestoga College.

VP Operations for Fibernetics Corp.
Tracy joins the management team as VP Operations for Fibernetics Corp, with over 13 years of Management experience in the information technology and Telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Fibernetics in 2010, Tracy's Senior Management experience spanned Group Telecom, Sprint Canada, and Rogers Wireless.
Tracy has her Psychology degree from the University of Waterloo. Her passion for driving customer experience, and helping customers achieve their business goals along with her zest for operational efficiency, makes her a wonderful additional to the Fibernetics management team.

PBX Lead Engineer
Gary Handelman combines multi-disciplinary computer systems and software design experience, high level problem solving skills and visionary conceptualization skills to produce unique technology solutions.
Gary holds a bachelor degree in Physics from McGill University and has over 20 years experience in software design. He has single-handedly developed both low-level and high level software platforms including a relational database and health and safety cloud services for the aerospace industry.

Network Engineer
Larry is a technically diverse, Engineering Professional with 23 years experience in all aspects of Telecommunications, Data, and IT Project Management. Larry has worked with the principals of Fibernetics for the past 10 years, helping in the development of telecom and data services for a group of companies, owned and operated by the principals. Thirteen years of his career was spent at SaskTel where he developed a portfolio of products and consulting services from SaskTel core competencies, then created and maintained a network of strategic partners and representatives throughout North and South America who promoted and found opportunities for those products and services. Products developed included Operational Support Systems (OSS), Distance Education, Call Centres, and Video On Demand. Consulting services included CATV/Telephony, Metropolitan Area Fibre networks, Private Data Networks, Switch / Transmission installation, Rural Wireless Networks, and Trunk Mobile Radio. Larry is a member with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and holds a BASc with Honors in Electronic Information Systems Engineering, University of Regina, Regina, Saskatchewan. He holds a Certificate in French Civilization, Sorbonne University, Paris, France, and a Certificate in Electronic Technology, Conestoga College, Kitchener, Ontario.

General Manager - Sofia, Bulgaria
Todor Krastev holds a master degree in Law from the University of Sofia "St. Kliment Ohridski". Before joining Fibernetics he had an experience as an auditor at the Bulgarian Public Internal Finance Control Agency
and as in-house lawyer of an international oil-tank building company. Todor took part in the establishing of Vonix Ltd. - the Research and Development Center of Fibernetics in 2006 and since then is Vonix's General Manager. As General Manager he took the challenge to build a strong team of professionals and at the same time to keep the expenses of the parent company as low as possible.
Todor is responsible for the whole work process at Vonix, managing the budget of the company, searching for talented developers and system administrators, representing Vonix in front of the Bulgarian official authorities. His goal is to keep Fibernetics and its customers up to date with the most advanced technologies in the field of VoIP.

Vice President Business Services
Chris Lehman has 20 years experience in management roles of increasing responsibility, focused in the telecommunications, technology, and hospitality sectors. Chris' technology experience includes senior positions overseeing sales and marketing strategies, and in product management. He has developed direct and channel distribution strategies, successfully building exposure for products across North America with key high profile stakeholders. Prior experience includes senior corporate management experience for a national full service hospitality company, which provided a strong basis for financial management including preparation and analysis of operating budgets and P & L responsibility. An expert verbal and written communicator, and highly effective presenter, Chris has written and presented sales presentations, product introductions, and training seminars. He has participated on panels as an industry expert at various association conferences, conventions, and trade shows. The daily application of these principles provides leadership through example to those around him. As Vice President Sales, Business Services, Chris is responsible for the effective marketing of Fibernetics Business Services to grow market share.

Director of Human Resources
Amanda's passion for Fibernetics and its employees is a key contributor to the overall culture and success of the company. Amanda's everyday positive attitude and willingness to help brings an invaluable talent to the team. Amanda is also involved with many local associations to spear head much needed recruitment during Fibernetics' high growth phase.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo and graduated from the Human Resources program at Conestoga College. She is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association and is currently working towards obtaining her CHRP designation.

Director of Marketing
Sam Pajpani joined Fibernetics in 2011 and is responsible for the overall Marketing Strategy. Prior to joining Fibernetics, Sam held senior level positions at Sprint Canada, Rogers Wireless and Bell Canada all within Marketing Strategy and Sales. Sam holds BA from the University of Toronto and is also currently enrolled in the Strategic Leadership Program.

Director of Operations
Pamela Sauvé brings over 15 years experience from Xerox Canada where she held a number of senior strategic account assignments, developing strong relationships with clients to deliver operational efficiencies into their businesses. With four President's Club achievements, combined with industry-leading training, including Strategic Selling and Lean Six Sigma, she has consistently demonstrated her ability to deliver value-added solutions to her customers.
In Pamela's role as Director of Operations she is responsible for the deployment of operational strategies across the organization and for uncovering new ways to generate efficiencies within the business. Her responsibilities include working cross-functionally within the organization to ensure key corporate objectives are achieved. Pamela's passion for excellence and world class customer service make her a valuable member of the Fibernetics management team.
Pamela holds a bachelor of Commerce, Honours Degree, from Queen's University. She lives in Waterloo with her husband and three daughters, and is actively involved as a volunteer with the Waterloo Minor Soccer Association and various fundraising events.

VP - Regulatory Affairs and Carrier Relations
Richard Schleihauf brings two decades of telecommunications experience to the Fibernetics team. He has worked for a number of different service providers, spanning the industry, including: Local, Long-Distance, Wireless, and Internet. Richard has been critically involved in the establishment and/or growth of several different CLEC's. His roles have been diverse, encompassing strategic planning, engineering, network operations, business development, carrier relations, and regulatory.
Richard joined Fibernetics in 2009, and has been a key team member in helping Fibernetics grow. He looks forward to working with his peers, in helping Fibernetic's continuation of growth and prosperity. Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce, from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec.

Vice President Creative and Design
Michael Young is an award winning design professional bringing over 25 years experience to the Fibernetics team. His work as a Creative Director for one of Canada’s leading web development & technology firms involved lead design, project management, and brand development as well as work in interactive media, video production and all aspects of graphic design. During that time Michael worked closely with the Fibernetics family of companies in developing their various brands and web presence.
Michael was always impressed with Fibernetics vision and their unique approach to the telecommunications marketplace, so in January 2009 he accepted a full time position with Fibernetics as VP of Creative and Design. He looks forward to continuing in the success and growth of Fibernetics by further developing their core brands and executing on its marketing initiatives. Michael is a graduate of Sheridan College and Humber College’s Advertising and Graphic Design program.
