Here at the Fibernetics we are preparing for the imminent departure of Amber Salembier, our uber-talented office coordinator, as she prepares for the arrival of her third child (all boys – oh boy!). Amber is the first smiling face we see every morning, and her day is filled with keeping our headquarters up and running. She deals with all the subs, the landscapers, the contractors and everything else involved in running the facility that houses most of the Fibernetics staff. She is also our receptionist, kitchen, coffee, tea and produce master – and the “keeper of the keys.” Beyond that she is and is a key player in making our culture what it is, and that is awesome!
Amber, as you can tell from the video, loves it at Fibernetics, (and we love her right back). Now we are looking for someone to fill her fabulous shoes while she is away. Here’s what we are looking for from Amber’s 13-month contract maternity leave replacement:
ways you contribute
• You will coordinator all contractors of Fibernetics facility including order all building supplies and maintenance services
• You will order office supplies, kitchen supplies, produce, and team lunches when required
• You will administer the security system and access
• You will maintain the Contact Directory, sign-in sheet, and visitor badges
• You will answer incoming telephone calls and greet walk-in visitors
• You will prepare all meeting rooms and manage meeting room calendars
• You will process all regular incoming and outgoing mail
• You will perform general office maintenance such as watering the plants, linen laundry, and the Xerox machines
• You will work with the Human Culture team on workspace planning, moves/adds/changes, and redesign
• You will participate with the Social Committee in planning/execution of company events
• You will assist the Executive Assistant and the Human Culture team as required
• You will provide administrative assistance to the Fibernetics Leadership team upon request and based on overall workload and priorities
• You will be an example of Fibernetics Core Values
what makes you awesome
• You are have 3+ years of experience in an administrative role
• You have a customer-service orientation
• You have the ability to work alone with minimal supervision and the ability to work within tight deadlines
• You have the ability to remain calm under stressful situations
• You have high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks when handling multiple projects
• You have patience and a good sense of humour
• You have strong Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Word, and Excel
• You are available for a 1 year full-time contract position, starting October 2015
• Post-secondary education in Administration or related considered an asset
